The New England Quality Payment Program Support Center assists New England-based physician and other eligible clinical practices to prepare for and participate in the new Quality Payment Program (QPP), established by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA).
This technical assistance, authorized and funded under MACRA, brings direct support to Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) eligible clinicians in two groups: small practices with 15 or fewer clinicians and practices with 16 or more clinicians.
The New England Quality Payment Program Support Center, administered by Healthcentric Advisors, is serving all six New England states – Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Broadening our QPP Services throughout New England
Healthcentric Advisors was awarded one of 11 contracts to provide QPP consultation to both smaller practices (those with up to 15 providers) through the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). This contract, along with our existing QIN-QIO contract with CMS, allows us to offer continued support to larger practices (16 and more) located in New England. Together, we provide full-service, no-cost support to the provider community (regardless of practice size) as they meet QPP requirements.
I wasn't sure about the program, but we answered the basic questions. We are happy that you will guide us through if we plan on doing the 'walk' stage.
The staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I am very happy that they reached out to our practice. They answered questions quickly. Great resource.
Excellent service. Knows the MIPS protocol in and out. Was able to quickly and efficiently answer any questions or concerns. Thank you!
I am a physician and my practice manager attended one of the 3 educational sessions held at your Woburn facility. She raved about the knowledge she got out of the meeting. She told me that she now understands so much more about the program than before attending. I feel that your amazing knowledge helped our practice immensely! Kudos!!
It is such a relief to have completed this complicated process, and avoid the "penalty" that would have been imposed if I wasn't able to submit this. As an older clinician, not used to all this high-tech jargon, I had no idea and no help in my practice, to navigate my way through this unfamiliar territory. Thanks to the Mass Med Society referring me to you, you were available, helpful, and always reassuring. It took us three sessions to complete it, but with patience and perseverance, this has been accomplished! And thank you for offering your continued help with the next challenges which are likely to be presented to us by these new government regulations.
Thank you for reaching out to me. I am happy to report that today is a much brighter day! The corrective steps I took yesterday at GE’s instruction seem to have done the trick!!!! So far I have successfully uploaded the QRDA-III files for two of my providers. I uploaded the same report to both the Quality Measures and the ACI sections successfully for each provider. I have two more providers to do. What a relief!! I’m sure I’ll still come up with some questions before I get this project done – you are such a great resource and assistance to me. I’d would have given up by now without you. Thanks again for your involvement and guidance.
Just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your assistance in helping us to attest for QPP. The face to face visit helped us to see that the process was connected to a real person, not just a chat on the computer or a phone call. You have made yourself very available to answer any questions and address any concerns. You looked over some screen shots. The next time we were to meet did not happen, but you were still available and helpful via texts. That was very much appreciated. I wished I had connected with you months ago after you sent that email - just didn't know if it was a sales pitch or not - then I wouldn't have spent hours trying to figure this all out. Thank you for checking our numbers to be sure we did it correctly. We're very proud that we scored as high as we did!
I would like to take a moment and thank you for all of the services you provided to our office. You were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and flexible. I cannot express enough how valuable of a contact you are to have. Without your help I truly believe that I would have failed to comply, and this office would have had a grave monetary impact. I hope to stay in communication with you in the future and continue to stay in compliance.
Thank you for your help with QPP. I am sure we couldn’t have done this without you. Your calm and competent manner made this challenging task bearable. Look forward to seeing you soon.
We greatly appreciate you meeting with us regarding MIPS. The meeting was highly informative. You have provided us with the proper tools, understanding and insight on MIPS and EHR systems. That being said, your vast knowledge and time spent in our office will also guide us to success with both MIPS and the transitioning to an EHR system. You are a true professional and very knowledgeable in your field. We would highly recommend your services to other physicians’ practices.
Thank you so much for spending the time with me today. You went above and beyond to get the job done. Your patience is remarkable with all the calls and demands on your time. I felt very comfortable working with you, you know your information and present the information in an excellent manner.
Thank you for bringing clarity and going the extra mile in assisting me with the MIPS.
- You promptly answered my calls or returned my calls promptly
- You brought clarity to the MIPS program
- You were extremely patient and polite
- We were able to accomplish everything before the deadline.
I want to thank you very much for all the help you have given us in getting set up for MIPS. Right from the beginning when I contacted the New England QPP Support Center, you gave me your contact number. You returned my call very promptly and we set up a time for me to call when I was able to be walked through the process on the computer. I am not the most technological savvy person and you were very patient guiding me through every step. I was very impressed when you called Friday morning to see if we had been contacted by EDIM. I hadn't then but when I called at 1pm you walked me through step two! Then you even agreed to meet with me within the next few weeks to show me how to used the Physicians Quality Value Program. I know that is the best way for me to learn and I appreciate the hands on training. Thank you for all your assistance.
