2022 Self-Nomination, Data Validation, and QCDR Measure Submission Form Demonstration
June 17 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a demonstration webinar on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) to provide more information on the Qualified Registry and Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) self-nomination processes for the 2022 performance year of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
This demonstration will provide a walk-through of the Qualified Registry and QCDR self-nomination forms available on the Quality Payment Program website as well as the QCDR Measure Submission Form for those submitting QCDR measures.
What are QCDRs and Qualified Registries?
Qualified Registries and QCDRs are CMS-approved third party intermediaries that collect clinical data on behalf of clinicians for data submission. Only entities wishing to become (and who meet the requirements of) a Qualified Registry and/or QCDR entity need to complete the self-nomination form.
You should attend the webinar if your organization plans to self-nominate as a 2022 Qualified Registry or QCDR. Participation in this demonstration is optional. MIPS eligible clinicians wishing to report for the 2022 performance year of MIPS via a Qualified Registry or QCDR reporting mechanism do not need to self-nominate.
Date: Thursday, June 17, 2021
Time: 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. ET
Registration Link: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/7124016626277435917
CMS will answer questions from attendees at the end of the webinar as time permits. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions during a virtual “office hours” session for the MIPS self-nomination application process, which will be held on August 19, 2021.
You should receive a confirmation email from GoTo Webinar once you register. The slide deck, recording, and transcript from this webinar will be posted to the Quality Payment Program Webinar Library in the weeks following the webinar. If you do not receive a confirmation email or if you have any questions, please contact CMSQualityTeam@ketchum.com.
